By using this site and by requesting a booking you accept these conditions. Read them together with the Cancellation policy, the House rules and the Privacy policy. The Spanish version is the original.

Who runs this site

What the site is for

The site presents three holiday houses, CASA A12, CASA C5 and Punta Arrecife, and lets you send the host a booking request. The site takes no payment, processes no payments and does not confirm bookings by itself.

How a booking is made

  • The price the form shows is an estimate worked out from the base rate. It is not a final offer.
  • The calendar shows the taken nights the site knows of at that moment. The host confirms availability.
  • A discount code is applied to the estimate under its own conditions (dates of use, houses and minimum stay). The host checks it when confirming the total.
  • The booking is made when the host confirms availability, the dates and the total in writing, and you pay what was agreed.
  • Prices are in United States dollars. The total the host confirms is the final amount, including any taxes that apply.
  • You receive a receipt for your payment and your booking.

Who may book

  • The booking is made by a person aged 18 or over, who answers for the group.
  • The group may not exceed the house's capacity: 7 people at CASA A12, 6 at CASA C5 and 7 at Punta Arrecife.
  • On arrival you identify yourself at the community's entrance. The host records the details tourism regulations require.

Using the house

The stay is governed by the House rules. The guest who books answers for damage that he or she, or anyone in the group, causes to the house, its furnishings or the community's shared areas, beyond normal wear.

Cancellations and changes

The Cancellation policy in force on the day your booking is confirmed applies.

What the host does and does not guarantee

  • The photographs and descriptions are of the real houses and are reviewed to keep them current. If you find a mistake, tell us and it will be corrected.
  • The pool and the other shared areas belong to each community, which may close them for maintenance or change their hours.
  • The host is not liable for water, electricity or internet cuts caused by third parties, but will do what is reasonable to help resolve them.
  • Use of the pool and shared areas is each guest's responsibility. Minors must always be in the care of an adult.

The site's content

The photographs, videos, text and logo belong to the host. They may not be used commercially without his permission.

Links to other sites

The site links to Airbnb, YouTube, Google Maps and WhatsApp. Each has its own terms, for which this site is not responsible.

Governing law and complaints

These conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. If you have a complaint, write first to reservations@mantaoceanhomes.com: you will be answered in writing. You always keep the rights given to you by Ecuador's consumer protection law and may go to the Ombudsman (Defensoría del Pueblo) or the competent courts.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is published here with its date. A booking already confirmed is governed by the terms in force on the day it was confirmed.
