Cancellation policy

If you cancel

• 30 days or more before the arrival date, you get back 100% of what you paid.
• Between 30 and 7 days before arrival, you get back 50% of the price of the nights.
• Within 7 days of arrival there is no refund.
• Within 24 hours of the booking being confirmed you may cancel at no cost, provided arrival is more than 7 days away.

How to cancel

Write to the host on WhatsApp at +593 96 832 6943 or by email at reservations@mantaoceanhomes.com, with your name and the dates of the booking. What counts is the date and time your message is received, in Ecuador time. The host confirms the cancellation in writing.

Refunds

Refunds go back by the same means you paid with. The host tells you in writing the day he orders it; how long it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank.

If the host cancels

If the host cannot receive you on the confirmed dates, you get back 100% of what you paid or, if you prefer, you are offered other dates or the other house.

Changing dates

If you need to move your stay, write to the host. A change depends on availability and the price may differ for the new dates.

Events outside both parties' control

If something that depends on neither you nor the host prevents the stay, such as roads or the airport being closed by order of the authorities or a natural disaster, you and the host agree either new dates or a refund of what you paid.

Your rights as a consumer

Nothing above limits the rights given to you by Ecuador's consumer protection law (Ley Orgánica de Defensa del Consumidor).
